1 My parents' lives have been full of struggle. In my family, we didn’t grow up sharing stories after dinnertime. So I don’t know much about their past. I don’t know what their childhoods were like. Or what their dreams were before the difficulties of life took them away.
One day, I want to muster up the courage to ask. Have those conversations. Figure out how to get them to open up about their emotions. Then I want to document it all through my poetry and prose. Make them sort of immortal in a way.
2 Explore the ocean. Anyone have a submarine?
3 Practise documentary photography.
4 At a point, I hope to be at peace with all I have, rather than constantly desiring more.

Member of Ontario Parliament, (Bramalea-Gore-Malton), New Democratic Party - Deputy Leader
1 Learn how to play the rabab -- a musical instrument, something like a medieval lute, designed by Guru Nanak and played by his travelling companion, Mardana.
2 Surprise my sister and her family in Brighton, England, by sailing across the ocean, right to their doorstep.
3 Communities need spaces that encourage creative spirits. One day, I want to open a community centre that is focused on cultivating creativity and innovation.
A space where musicians, visual artists, writers, craftspeople, software coders and any other form of creative expression can work together and inspire one another.
4 Learn to salsa, so I’ll be able to twirl the love of my life around when I'm 80.
