See How New Delhi Became the Murder Capital of the World

Over the course of 3 days in November 1984 in India, innocent Sikhs were identified as Sikhs and killed, in the thousands.

Please CLICK here to see how the murderous rampage, led by ruling party politicians and aided and abetted by the police and government bureaucracy, progressed through the neighbourhoods of India's capital, day and night, in the open streets, in people's homes, and in the gurdwaras.

Each flag marks the address of a documented victim.

You can use the cursor to navigate your way through the various areas of the murder capital of the wortld.

Watch as the flags appear, one by one, across the city, marking the address of each victim of the pogrom. If you zoom in, you'll see that no area was left untouched by India's ignominy. If you zoom out, you'll see a spreading sea of red.

Be patient, as you watch the map register each new murder, because it will give you a idea as to what transpired during those days.

Remember, as you watch the map turn red, that on an average, an innocent Sikh was murdered in the public forum EVERY MINUTE in the capital of a city which claims to be a democracy!

We must all work towards ensuring that this never happens again! No matter what it takes!
