Mother (98) & Son (75) are both World Champions at the 2013 International Senior Games in Utah, USA

98-year-old athlete Mann Kaur has so far bagged 5 gold medals at the Huntsman World Senior Games 2013, currently being held at St. George USA (October 7 to 19, 2013)..

More than 10,000 sports men and women from 66 countries are participating in the two-week event.

Mann Kaur, a mere two years short of her own centennial, broke her own world record in Javelin throw, measuring a distance of 5.80 M.

Her 75-year-old son who is also participating in the games, also won a Gold Medal … in Long Jump, with a mark of 3.53 M.

It may be the first time in the history of world competition that a mother and son are both World Champions.
