One thing we should remember is that this vicious campaign against Sikhs is not something which has spontaneously manifested out of thin air. One could always find comments on Indian newspaper sites bordering on the inhumane by Hindu readers in regards to issues relating to Sikhs. This new wave of propaganda shows how insecure a billion people are when they compare themselves to a group barely numbering 30 million. Let them lie, cheat and steal. It will not change the fact that our people are proud, wealthy, successful and full of integrity. And we do not send our children to bed with their stomachs empty.

The government of India is worried that the world will finally find out the extent of what they did in 1984. The fact that India has launched this elaborate plot, that rivals Bollywood films in its absurdity, only serves to highlight their desperation to keep their crimes hidden.

The shameless disinformation campaign and the unadulterated venom being spewed by the Indian media reminds us of the circumstances before 1984 when the bogey of Khalistan was deliberately raised by Indian agencies as a prelude to the pre-planned attack on the Golden Temple, the genocide of tens of thousands of innocent Sikhs and their large scale arrest, torture and persecution under draconian laws. The Indian establishment's reaction to protests against the hanging of Sikh hero Balwant Singh Rojoana and the recent so-called attack on Brar makes it crystal clear that nothing has changed. In fact Sikhs are more vulnerable and weak than in 1984 and that the Indian Government is still pursuing policies designed to marginalize and subjugate Sikhs.

Who'd want to kill Gen. Brar, the guy who already lives in a jail. His relatives don't speak to him. He has sentenced himself to solitary confinement. I bet Indian agencies were trying to get rid of him. Read "Soft Target", you'll understand how Indian agencies work.

This is a great analysis. Please try and have it published across the Sikh media, so that more people can read it and be aware.

Very good article by Manpreet Singh. Honestly speaking, I am surprised that somebody in India, that too from outisde of Punjab, can understand the reality around Sikh events. I wish all Sikhs can think to this level so that they can identify their real enemy and not fall for the false propaganda of the Indian machinery. Every line of the article is appreciable. Keep it up, S. Manpreet Singh ji.

The attack on Brar was part of the Indian design to once more use the policy of divide and rule. The common man on the street does not want killings, riots, hatred, or even corruption and bribery. One thing that I would say is that as Sikhs we have not made much of an attempt to take our faith, our thinking and our ideas to the world. The world does not know much about us. It is high time that we let others know about our great faith. I would commend the great work being done by the editor and everyone associated (including readers and contributors) of sikhchic.com. But, on the street, we're known mostly for our good self-deprecating humour, our lust for life ... but not for the most beautiful system of values known to man, which is what Sikhi is.

Get rid of these SIkhs, you Hindus - whether actively or passively - and you will see what the Pakistanis will do to you. The only reason you have had your identity intact to date is due to the Sikhs acting as a buffer. I think the time has come for the truth to be told. So go ahead, you passive Hindus - do support the active Hindus.
