He Died in Jerusalem

Balwant Kaur and her ever-nagging husband went on vacation to Jerusalem.

While they were there, tearing around the place to catch all the sights, it appears the poor fellow from Gurdaspur picked up the deadly English mad-cow disease from fellow tourists who were visiting from Great Britain.

Within a few hours, he passed away.

The local undertaker told the wife, "You can have him shipped home to Punjab for $5,000, or you can have him buried here in this holy land, for $150."

Balwant Kaur thought about it and then told him she would just have her husband shipped home.

Baffled, the undertaker asked, "Why would you spend $5,000 to ship your husband's body home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here in such a blessed place, and you would spend only $150?"

The Punjaban replied, "Yesterday, our tourist guide told us about how another man - called Jesus Christ - who died here, was buried here, and three days later, he rose from the dead.

"Waheguru!  I'm not taking any chances!"

Reminds me of another instance when the nagging spouse suddenly passed away. The survivor received a cable from the pastor. "Do you wish a burial or a cremation?" Came back the reply: "Do both; don't take any chances."
