Poetry
Search Me: I Give You Everything
A Poem by AMRIT KAUR LOHIA
Maybe one day the world will see
A world of love and empathy
Built strong by mistakes in history:
Resistant to the birth of tyranny
It pains to speak of reality:
Man's become responsibility
What does it take for one to tell
The insane of their sanity?
Darkness is my spirituality
The voiceless cries guide me
Free of duty I shall walk
In search for lasting unity
They never disobey ‘royalty'
It troubles the laws of philosophy
The fear becomes the fearer
Perhaps there will never be stability
Those who obey authority
Know not the word cruelty
Only our ears have experienced
The suffering caused by loyalty
I will show humanity:
A commune of equality
A final solution they will see
All lives will live in harmony.
God gave me life:
I breathe it.
God gave me Faith:
I live it.
God showed me truth:
I fight for it.
God blessed me:
I believe it.
